Fatal Shooting Claims Life Of Wood County 12-year-old

Wood County dispatch received a call from FM-779 in the Alba-Golden area Saturday from a caller who reported that someone had shot her 12-year-old son in the head. EMS and deputies determined the boy had died due to the gunshot wound. Investigators interviewed a suspect but released no other information due to the ages of the victim and suspect.
