Fire Radio Stolen, Used To Set Off Tornado Warnings

Gilmer Police are investigating after someone stole a portable radio from a Gilmer Fire Department Captain’s vehicle and set off several tornado warnings Sunday morning. They were immediately canceled by firefighters on duty. Investigators say the suspect set the sirens off intentionally because he or she was making all kinds of comments over the radio.
