Free Lamar County Tire Collection Events Continue

Thanks to a $50,000 grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, towns throughout Lamar County are collecting and disposing of old tires. So far, four 18-wheeler trailers have been filled with old tires, some collected in Deport Lake. The next collection event will be held in Blossom on July 8.
