Bond is $50,000 for a Gilmer man caught after a police chase through Morris and Cass County. During the chase, the suspect, Chancellor Gunther, allegedly fired several shots at law enforcement officers. The pursuit came to an end with a DPS roadblock in Linden. Gunther then gave himself up, and he is in the Morris County Jail. Authorities say they might increase his bond.
