Gov. Abbott Says National Guard Will Not Be At Voting Locations 

There are new questions about the possible involvement of the National Guard on Election Day. While the National Guard will not play a role in the election process, state officials could deploy the Guard to address violence issues. Gov. Greg Abbott acknowledged the plans for increased support Wednesday in the event protests occur and build in Texas intensity.
