Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Blue Santa collected more than $4,000 and a significant amount of toys so far during this year’s campaign. One of the organizers, Angela Price of the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, said she loves Hopkins County and its support of this worthy cause. Blue Santa will continue to collect toys and monetary donations during Friday evening’s Christmas parade and up through December 21 at the Sheriff’s Office. The Blue Santa barrels will remain out till about that time to assist those in need of a helping hand.
