November 9, 2020, COVID-19 Update

14 – new positive cases 42 new recoveries

729 – cumulative cases

622 – recoveries

107 – active

14 -patients in the COVID Unit

44 – fatalities per DSHS dashboard

Starting today, DSHS will be reporting antigen and recoveries. The state is not referring to these as positive cases but probable cases. This possible number only reflects Hopkins County residents and dates back to testing starting on June 23. The state is only reporting the antigen on Mondays, and that is when we will provide them as well, instead of Fridays.

The state reported antigen since June 23:

556 – cumulative probable cases

430 – probable recoveries

126 – probable active

As of 5:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2020, a total of 2,915 COVID tests have been performed at the testing center located at 128-A Jefferson Street.
