State troopers stopped a man for equipment violations on Hwy 19 north of Sulphur Springs and smelled marijuana while talking to the driver. The Trooper found a pistol under the driver’s seat, and the owner of the gun had reported it stolen in Bedford. The officer arrested Jaden Haskins of Paris, and he bonded out of the Hopkins County jail Wednesday afternoon. mugshot not available
