Hopkins County Deputies arrested an Illinois couple on money laundering charges after stopping them from following another vehicle too closely. Karen Reyes, 23, and 25-year-old Enrigue Degante said they were traveling to Texas to visit family, but deputies found a very large amount of bundled cash, which deputies say the couple intended to use to buy high-quality marijuana. Both suspects have been released after posting $20,000 bail.
