Investigation Continues Into Fatal Crash

Paris police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that occurred about 3am Friday in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue.  Witnesses told police  that a Red Mustang and a Blue Mercedes were headed in the same direction, and when the Mercedes tried to change lanes, the vehicles collided. The Mercedes than crashed into a signal poled and burst into flames. The driver of the Mercedes, 31 year old Jessica Amber Hollowell of Sumner was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mustang sped away from the wreck and remains at large. The Mustang may have damage near the back right taillight.
