The jury pool for a Northeast Texas death penalty case has been narrowed down to 331 potential jurors. Each potential juror will be questioned individually by prosecutors and defense attorneys in the case of 39-year-old Billy Joel Tracy. He’s accused of beating to death 47-year-old Telford Prison Unit corrections officer Timothy Davison. The trial is expected to start at the end of October in New Boston. Tracy is represented by Mac Cobb of Mt Pleasant.
