The Texas DSHS Coronavirus Dashboard shows that there are 546 active COVID cases in Lamar County as of Sunday. The total number of deaths from the virus since testing began is now 195. Since the pandemic began, there have been 3,388 confirmed and 5,207 probable COVID cases, and 7,854 recoveries in the county.
