Gregory Newson
A Shreveport man accused of killing a Panola County Deputy has been extradited back to East Texas to face charges. Bond has been set at $3 million for Gregory Dewayne Newson on a charge of Capital Murder of a Police Officer. He’s accused of fatally shooting Panola County Deputy Chris Dickerson during a traffic stop. Newsom is being held in the Gregg County Jail.
