Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick expects to release a list of legislative priorities this week, and some protect businesses from COVID-related lawsuits. Business groups wanted that type of protection to be part of the federal COVID relief packages, but they left it off. The Lt. Gov. also wants to pass a bill that would withhold state investments from any Wall Street firm that turn their back on Texas’s oil and gas sector.
