Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is facing criticism from minority groups over his selection of senators to sit on the conference committee that will decide the fate of the controversial Election Integrity Bill. The NAACP and LULAX leaders sent Patrick a letter on Tuesday calling him out for not selecting an African American or Latino Senator. Both groups have vowed to challenge the election integrity legislation in the courts if Governor Abbott signs it into law.
