Man Charged With Greenville Shooting Makes Court Appearance

The Greenville man charged with capital murder for shooting up a party made a brief court appearance Wednesday in Hunt County and told the judge he had a lawyer. Brandon Ray Gonzales remains behind bars in lieu of a $1-million bond. A group of people led by the Rev. Dr. Jeff Hood plans to protest in front of the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office Saturday because they believe Gonzales is innocent. A murder weapon has not been found.
