Man Found Guilty in Area Robberies Due for Sentencing

A 50-year-old Northeast Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for a crime spree he committed in 2015. Bobby Wayne Lance, 50, of Avery received nearly 88 years behind bars for the armed robberies of Movies 8 in Paris, the Carter RV Convenience Store in DeKalb, the First National Bank in Mount Vernon, a carjacking and four counts of use or carrying of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
