Man Slain In Tyler Convenience Store Robbery Had Mt. Pleasant Ties

THe convenience store employee murdered during an armed robbery in Tyler had ties to Mt. Pleasant.  62 year old Billy Dale Stacks was shot in the head and shoulder and died   at ETMC.  He had worked at the store for 12 years.  Three men have been arrested and face capital murder charges.
