Blossom will hold its annual Christmas parade on Saturday at 2:00 pm. The theme this year is “A Country Christmas.” The city will offer a $100 prize for the best float. Other prizes include $50 for the best ATV, $25 for the best bicycle and $25 for the horse with the best costume.
The Sam Bell Maxey House will host “Christmas at the Maxey House” on Saturday from 11:00 until 4:00 pm. This year’s theme will depict how Christmas was with the Long family during the first half of the 20th-Century and how traditions were affected by World War I. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students aged 6-18, and free for children five years old and younger.
