A vehicle struck and killed a Morris County man riding a bicycle while on US 259 about a mile and a half north of Lone Star. Officials said 48-year-old Larry Martin, of Cason, had no lights on his bike and died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, and paramedics treated and released him. Officers did not file any charges in the accident.
