Murder Warrant For Ex-Officer Says Victim Was Holding Gun, But That’s Legal In Texas

WBAP is reporting that the arrest affidavit for a former Fort Worth Police Officer has turned up new details. Aaron Dean is charged with murdering Atatiana Jefferson during a welfare call to her home. According to the affidavit, Jefferson reached for a gun and pointed it out the window before she was shot. Dean has posted a $200,000 bond and has been released from jail to wait for his trial.
