NE Texas Man Faces Arkansas Manslaughter Charge

A Northeast Texas man has been charged in connection with the crash that claimed the life of a Mineral Springs Arkansas woman. Officials say 62-year-old Ralph Vernon Hendrix, of Bowie County, was allegedly drunk when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by Jacque Tollett. It caused her car to roll several times. She was pronounced dead at the scene and Hendrix was charged in Arkansas with Negligent Homicide.
