New Appointments Made By Commissioners

Hopkins County Commissioners sore in Dr. Darrell Pierce of Sulphur Springs as the new Local Health Authority at Monday’s meeting. The office is a volunteer, not paid position. He replaces Dr. I.L. Balkom IV, recognized at the March 9 meeting for his 25 years of service to the county. In addition, Rodney Caudle was sworn in Monday as Deputy Fire Marshal for Hopkins County. He is currently a part-time investigator with the fire department and is a full-time Captain with the Rockwall Fire Department.
