No Charges In Red River County Gun Incident

A Red River County Constable arrested on New Years Day for deadly conduct will not face criminal charges. The Red River County prosecutor said a gun fired inside a house did not fit the definition of deadly conduct because the gun was not fired in the direction of any person. DA Val Varley said the incident will not affect Constable Barnaby Resendiz’s ability to continue in office.
