North Texas National Guardsman’s Body Recovered

Monday morning, they recovered the body of the Texas National Guard Soldier who was reported missing in the Rio Grande Friday. Specialist Bishop Evans of Arlington was assigned to Operation Lone Star and was helping migrants cross the Rio Grande River near Eagle Pass when he went missing and presumably drowned. HE was a 2018 graduate of Mansfield HS, where he was a JROTC member. He previously served in Kuwait and Iraq.
