Northeast Texas Man Sentenced For Kidnapping, Robbery

A New Boston jury held the punishment phase of the kidnapping and robbery trial of a man who pistol-whipped a woman and held a gun to the head of her two-year-old son while he demanded money. They handed down a decision of 40 years in prison for 20-year-old Xavier Lavar French. More felony charges are pending against French.
