One Escapee Caught, One At Large

Dallas County Deputies captured a man who had escaped from jail in Choctaw County and, with another inmate running from a Mississippi jail after a brief chase in a Porsche he had stolen. After 31-year-old Tyler Charles Payne and his accomplice Traverro McElroy fled Mississippi, they abandoned a stolen church van in Lake Fork. Payne is in the Dallas County Jail without bond on multiple felony charges. McElroy is still on the run and is considered armed and dangerous.
