Paris Police Report For Friday (Dec 21)

Thursday, Paris Officers were dispatched the 500-block of Bonham in regards to a disturbance. They met A’Kese Jett, one of the parties involved. They discovered that she had a warrant for Larceny out of the McCurtain County Oklahoma Sherriff’s Office. She was arrested without incident, booked and transported to Lamar County Jail.

Officers were driving through the parking lot of a retail store in the 3800-block of Lamar when they observed a subject, who later identified himself as Kerry Ray King, pushing a cart with a large television. They noticed that the TV was still wrapped in the anti-theft materials. Officers made contact with King. Further investigation revealed that he had taken the item without paying. King was arrested for theft and transported to the Police Department. He was booked and later taken to Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers responded to an industrial accident in the 1200-block of SW 19th. Reportedly, an individual had been struck by a piece of pipe by accident. The individual had non-life-threatening injuries, and Paris EMS transported him to Paris Regional Medical Center.

Officers responded to a Burglary of a motor vehicle in the 100-block of NE 15th. The unlocked vehicle was entered by an unknown suspect, and a “Tony Burch” brand purse and contents were taken.

Paris Police responded to 119 Calls for service and made five arrests on Thursday (Dec 20).
