Paris Police Report For Tuesday (Dec 11)

Monday morning at 11:22, Paris Police arrested Mark Dewayne Chambers, 38, of Paris, and charged him with forgery of a financial instrument. Reportedly, Chambers used fake money to pay for a room at a motel in the 1900-block of Lamar Ave. Officers found Chambers in possession of more phony money. He is in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 1600-block of Fairfax. Reportedly, sometime between 2:00 and 3:30 pm, entered the house and stole a gun safe that contained several firearms and jewelry. The value of the stolen items totaled to be over $6,000. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to 94 calls for service and arrested five people Monday (Dec 10).
