Paris Police Report Monday (Jan 25)

Michael Dean Daniels

Officers arrested Michael Dean Daniels, 53, of Paris, at the Lamar County Adult Probation Office at 3:37 Friday afternoon on a felony motion to revoke a warrant. Daniels original conviction was for possession of a controlled substance of more than one gram but less than four. They placed Daniels in the Lamar County Jail.

Edward Delaney Waymire

Paris Police worked a criminal trespass in the 3700-block of NE Loop 286 at 11:31 Saturday morning. Officers made contact with Edward Delaney Waymire, 27, of Lewisville, Texas, inside a room. They advised him to leave the premises due to not paying for the lodging. Waymire then walked to the front lobby and began cursing the employees. Waymire was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, and officers found him in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. They added charges of possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. Waymire is in Lamar Cou Jail.

Sunday morning at 5:36, Paris Police worked an aggravated assault in the 200-block of NW 25th St. The 36-year-old male victim reported that someone knocked on the front door, and a white male struck him with a pipe and left screaming something about the victim trying to sleep with the suspect’s girlfriend. The victim advised that he had been at the suspect’s house earlier, and they had been drinking together. Police had not located the suspect at the time of this report.

Paris Police met with the victim of a terroristic threat at 12:56 Sunday afternoon in the 4000-block of Lamar Ave. The victim reported that her ex-boyfriend from Bullard had been sending her messages advising that he would assault her. The incident is under investigation.

Donnie Teafatiller

Police arrested Donnie Teafatiller, 27, of Paris, in the 700-block of SE 10th St at 6:11 Sunday evening on a felony motion to revoke probation warrant. Teafatiller is currently on probation for possession of a controlled substance conviction. They transferred her to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 192 calls for service and arrested ten people over the weekend ending at midnight on Sunday (Jan 24).
