Radio Personality Slain In Kerrville

Kerr County deputies arrested a San Angelo man early Wednesday in connection with the discovery less than 90 minutes earlier of a woman’s body outside Ranch Radio Group, where she worked. The victim was identified as 52 year old Sherry Ruth Francis , a morning show host at one of the stations there. 36 year old suspect Gilbert Manriquez was discovered walking near the crime scene  and reportedly confessed to the murder. Investigators say the murder and sexual assault was a random attack.
