The adult son of the man accused of shooting his ex-wife in the Sugar Hill Community of Titus County has been released from jail after posting $15,000 bond. Jacob Lee Voelker had been arrested July 23 for allegedly assaulting his mother. Meanwhile, his father Johnny Lee Voelker, Jr. who allegedly shot Kathy Voelker earlier this week, remains behind bars on an attempted murder charge.
