Spur 185’s Railroad Crossing in Winfield to Close for Repairs.

The work rescheduled is from Wednesday to Thursday (Jun 9) all day until completion at Spur 185’s Railroad Crossing in Winfield. Motorists who regularly travel Spur 185 in Winfield will need to find an alternate route on Thursday (Jun 9).  Blacklands Railroad is closing the highway to through traffic at this site to make repairs to the railroad crossing. This work had originally been Wednesday (Jun 8) but due to work in other locations by flooding, is rescheduled. Portable message boards will be placed near the railroad crossing beforehand to warn motorists of the scheduled road closure. The construction schedule and road closure can change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
