UPDATE Standoff In Mt Pleasant Ends – No One Was Inside The Home

Mt Pleasant police were called to a residence in the 300 block of MLK after a man told officers that another man had pointed a gun at him and threatened his life. Police surrounded the residence and attempted to communicate with the man believed to be inside. At one point gas was used and entry was made into the house but no one was inside. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
