State Gospel Convention in Mt Pleasant

The Texas State Gospel Singing Convention is tonight and tomorrow at the Mt. Pleasant Civic Center. Its non-denominational and free for everyone who likes to sing or listen to gospel music. It all gets underway at 6 tonight and at 10am tomorrow morning. A scholarship will be given to the Texas Southern Gospel School of Music for youth between the ages of 7 and 25. To enter, you must attend at least one session of the convention.
