Sulphur Springs Police Vehicle Involved in Accident

An unmarked Sulphur Springs police SUV was involved in an accident shortly after 12;30 today adjacent to the Ferrari Inn on the Loop in Sulphur Springs.  Police chief Jay Sanders and Captain Jason Ricketson were responding to a call, when their vehicle and large pickup pulling a large closed in trailer collided. There were no injuries, but Chief Sanders was taken to Christus-Mother Francis Hospital in Sulphur Springs for observation.  State Troopers are investigating the crash.
