Things continue to show promise on the Texas job front. Texas added almost 90,000 jobs in September. The seasonally adjusted numbers added more than 31,000 jobs for August, indicating Texas has added 416,000 jobs this year. Based on national forecasts, along with COVID hospitalizations and oil futures, the Federal Reserve estimates that employment will increase by 5.1% thru the end of the year.
