Two college students from Texas go to great lengths to cast their ballots in the presidential election. Meredith Reilly and Zachary Houdek attend American University in Washington, DC. Reilly is from Arlington and Houdek from Austin. They both tried applying for absentee ballots, but somehow, their applications never made it to their proper destinations. Reilly says she and Houdek lamented over the situation at lunch back on October 25. So not to be deterred, the two decided right then and there to rent a car and drive more than 14-hundred miles back to Texas to cast their ballots.
