Woman Arrested For Assaulting ER Nurse, Child Neglect

A Pontotoc County woman has been arrested for child neglect and assault of an ER nurse. Reportedly, 33-year-old Chassity Evans, of Ada, had taken her autistic child to the Emergency Room. She then yelled at her child and attempted to grab a worker’s throat. Her bond is set at $10,000. The child was turned over to the Department of Human Services.
