An investigation by Lamar County detectives and Texas Rangers has led to the arrest of a suspect in connection with the death of 61-year-old Tony Lee Copeland, who died of a gunshot wound to the head. As a result of the investigation, a murder warrant was issued for 50-year-old Teresa Lyn Ross and she was located in Angelina County. She was arrested by U.S. Marshals and taken to Houston, where she is awaiting transport back to Lamar County.
