More Southwest Flights Canceled Monday

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines canceled hundreds of more flights after a weekend in which they withdrew about 1,900. Monday morning, there were more than 365 cancellations and more than 600 flights delayed. Southwest says air traffic control issues and disruptive weather resulted in the high volume of cancellations, but the FAA says no one reported any staffing shortages since Friday.
