7Th Annual Kids Marathon Starts March 7th

The kick-off of the 7th Annual Kids Marathon, sponsored by the Lamar County Coalition of Education, Business and Industry, will be next Monday, March 7 at 5;15 p.m. at the Trail de Paris trail near the Love Civic Center.   During the kick-off,  children from Kindergarten through sixth grade and  their parents will run/walk the first mile together and receive a running log.  Between March 7th and May 9th students must log a total of 25 run/walk miles.  Parents, guardians or teachers may sign the log sheet for verification.
