Greenville Man Guilty Of Murdering Son

Joseph Stephens, of Greenville, entered into a plea bargain with Hunt County prosecutors and has pleaded guilty to murdering his son, Demontre Diquincy Washington, in February of 2019. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison. As part of the plea bargain, charges of Tampering with a Witness against his wife, Cynthia Ann Stephens, were dismissed.
