Harrison County JP Resigns

Harrison County Judge Chad Sims said the Commissioners Court would move forward in accepting the resignation of Pct 1 JP Megan Pinson. Officials arrested Pinson in May on charges of theft of more than $2,500 but less than $30,000 and abuse of official capacity, but later dismissed the charges. Judge John Oswalt will serve in the position until the next election.
