One person is dead, and one is in custody following a fatal shooting outside the Cooper-Mart in Cooper. Authorities discovered the deceased on arrival and took a person into custody shortly afterward. Texas Rangers and Delta County deputies are investigating. There are also reports that they treated another for a gunshot wound and then flew them to a Dallas hospital listed in stable condition.
