Major Renovation To I-30

The Texas Department of Transportation and local officials held a groundbreaking ceremony in Rockwall for the much-anticipated I-30 expansion project. TXDOT says the stretch from Bass Pro Drive to the Hunt County line will expand from six to eight lanes. In addition, the $334-million project will add continuous frontage roads across with over a thousand concrete columns for road bridges over Lake Ray Hubbard. They expect the expansion to be completed by 2027.
