Major Hopkins County Construction Project To Begin

TxDOT will begin a $5.5 million improvement project on Hwy 11west on January 2.  The work will be done from just   southeast of the Hopkins-Hunt County line to about 3 miles west of FM 2653 South. Work should be completed by November of 2017.  The contract for the project was awarded to AK Gillis and Sons of Sulphur Springs.
