Hunt County Chase Suspect Files Motion To Reduce Bond

A North Texas man who allegedly fired several shots at officers during a high speed chase last week between Quinlan and Rockwall wants an attorney appointed to represent him. 51 year old Roberto Omar Vera Jr. also wants his bond lowered from $137,500.  He’s charged with aggravated assault against a public servant, evading arrest with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.
