Hearing Set in Hunt County for Woman Accused of Murder

A hearing is scheduled this week in Hunt County  for 29 year old Chacey Poynter of Royse City, who has pleaded not guilty to murdering her husband, University Park Fire Department Captain Robert L. Poynter. Prosecutors say Chacey and Michael Glen Garza of Quinlan acted jointly in the fatal shooting of Captain Poynter in September.  No trial dates have been set.
