NE Texas Inmate Guilty Of Capital Murder

After deliberating for only about an hour, a Bowie County jury convicted 39-year-old Telford Prison Unit inmate, Billy Joel Tracy of Capital murder, for beating to death correctional officer Timothy Davison. The punishment phase of Tracy’s trial will begin Wednesday. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, and the defense is hoping for life without parole.
